Recently, Imago Dei had the pleasure of serving a pizza lunch to the faculty and staff of East Millbrook Middle School in Raleigh. EMMS is an arts magnet school with more than 1200 students and 100 faculty, and serves as the location for the weekly worship service of Imago Dei.
We are extremely grateful for the kindness and hospitality of East Millbrook, particularly Principal Livengood, Curt Carlyle, and the secretaries and custodians. EMMS has graciously opened their doors to Imago Dei, and given all the challenges involved in planting a church, we are thankful to have such a beautiful and functional location in which to worship. The lunch provided by IDC was a simple way for us to thank the faculty and staff and also encourage them as they embark on another challenging year of educating a large group of 6-8th graders.
