Imago Dei desires to see lives changed by the gospel. That desire extends beyond the city of Raleigh to the ends of the Earth. We express this desire as one piece of our PEACE Plan. The E in the PEACE plan represents our hope to be a part of Evangelizing the World. We want to be intimately involved in international missions by sending short term trips around the world and by raising up long-term missionaries from our church that will plant their lives in under reached areas of the globe (we have one such couple heading to East Asia soon).
We also believe that to be a part of a goal that big we should, like the New Testament churches, cooperate with other churches toward this end. This is one of the major reasons that we partner with the Southern Baptist Convention and will participate for the first time in the annual Christmas offering for International Missions. We believe that we can do much together as we cooperate together to raise funds to send missionaries to the nearly 6,000 unreached people of the World. We long for every people group of the world to worship King Jesus as He alone deserves to be worshipped.
So we hope that our people and others would give generously during this Christmas Season to the cause of Christ around the world. We have a great message to share, the King has come… and He is coming again!
How to Give:
In this season of giving and reflecting on the birth of Christ and the truth of the Gospel, we invite and encourage you to give above and beyond your normal offering, and to designate that extra amount toward Missions. If you give in person, please use an offering envelope and fill in the amount you wish to be designated for Missions in that blank on the envelope. If you give online (PayPal), please add a comment to note how much of your gift should be designated for Missions. These amounts will be accounted for separately in the church budget.
