It’s hard to believe it has already been a year. God has truly blessed our church in so many ways. As I was looking around at all the faces on Sunday, I was again reminded of how faithful the Lord is to us – in all circumstances. Who would have thought a year ago that our church would grow to such heights that we would be discussing two services? However, its not all about the “numbers” growth at IDC, but instead, the spiritual growth. I love seeing that the Gospel is alive in our church and that it is also growing in the hearts of God’s people…People who are willing to pray, serve, and sacrifice out of love for others because of their love for Christ. These truths are obvious every time I think of our church home, but they especially rang true as we all corporately worshipped in God’s creation, overlooking his beautiful footstool. Needless to say, I am beyond thankful for how the Lord is using Imago Dei in the city of Raleigh. May this next year in the life of our church be even more fruitful than the first. Thanks be to God!
