God has called us to love, serve, and hold out the message of the gospel for the people of this world. One of the best ways of doing that is reaching out to those who live right around you. The reality is that there are people all around us, even next door to us, who are starving for the gospel.
So in an effort to love our neighbors, we want to gather people together to do some “Backyard Bible Clubs” this summer for kids who live in the neighborhoods where Imago Dei members live. These Backyard Bible Clubs would serve as an opportunity for us to get to know our neighbors and also learn how we can best serve and love them, as Christ has loved us.
We are asking each GG to have an intentional outreach this summer and this is one potential avenue for a summer outreach. So if you’re interested in serving and being part of this outreach, we will have an informational meeting right after corporate worship on Sunday, June 23rd.
