Imago Dei is joining thousands of other churches in giving special attention to global and local missions in December through our Christmas Mission’s Offering. Although we believe Christians should be missional everyday, December will be a special month set aside for giving financially to missions. As for Imago Dei’s plan, 50% of what is given through this Mission’s Offering will go directly to missionaries who are in unreached and underserved contexts around the world. In addition, the other 50% will be split between IDC’s Church Planting and Adoption funds. We ask that you please consider giving sacrificially and generously to missions during this Christmas season.
Also during December we also want to give special emphasis to our missions partners in East Asia. We will be raising some funds for them through a local partner who raises money for missions by selling pulled pork BBQ and Brunswick stew. By purchasing packaged BBQ and/or stew, individuals can also contribute to the work in East Asia. We are asking our growth groups to consider doing this at some point during December for their GG meal. For more information contact Brian James brian355114@gmail.com.
