Philippians 1:5 Project
Paul writes in Philippians 1:3-5, “I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.”
Paul rejoiced at the gospel partnerships he shared among the churches, as they were certainly an evidence of God’s grace and goodness. Imago Dei is in need of gospel partners. Imago Dei seeks these kinds of relationships in two areas:
1. Prayer Partners – It is our desire to have a 100 prayer partners commit to pray for Imago Dei. Please pray for unity among the team, wisdom, financial partners, and, most of all, the Spirit to show Himself strong on our behalf. We would be extremely grateful if you would partner with us in this way.
2. Financial Partners – As we have assessed the demands of church planting we have comprised a budget of roughly $150,000 for the first year. This money will go to cover personnel costs, rental spaces, equipment, mission work, and other miscellaneous costs as we seek to establish a church in one of the fastest growing cities in America. Part of our hope is to find churches that will pledge $10,000 each to reach our budget goal of $150,000. But we are also hoping to gather a multitude of individuals giving $10 here and $20 there. Please consider being one of these financial, gospel partners that helped establish Imago Dei as a mobilizing church to reach the nations with the gospel of King Jesus.
