Just in case you aren’t quite sure where to go this morning, the entrance to Beaverdam Rec. Area is 3 miles north of the intersection of Hwys 98 & 50 (going toward Creedmoor), and 7 miles north of the intersection of Hwy 50 and I-540. The entrance will be on the right as you head north and will be marked by one of IDC flag signs. From there just follow the directions to the swimming beach and park in the big parking lot there.
A word of caution: don’t use the address of 14600 Creedmoor Rd to get you to the right place. That is the address for the Falls Lake office and is about 1 mile south of the Beaverdam entrance. Instead you can use the coordinates below on your GPS or smartphone and it should take you right there.
