We are excited to begin 2012 at IDC for many reasons. We look forward to sharing life together as a community of faith, gathering for corporate worship, loving our neighbors, taking the gospel to the nations, caring for the least of these, and more.
God blessed us immensely in 2011. We experienced his grace in manifold ways. And we just want to ride this wave of grace into the new year.
Let’s join together in praying for big things in 2012 – for hundreds of lives to be changed by the gospel. May the Sovereign Lord “add to our number daily those who are being saved” (Acts 2:47).
One of the main ways God changes lives is through the preaching of his Word. We believe that gospel-centered, Spirit-empowered preaching is a “life-changing on the spot” experience for people. Join with us in praying for the following two upcoming sermon series.
KNOW. GROW. GO.
This series will be in the month of January. We will look at IDC’s disciple-making process. Matt and Nate will preach the first two weeks of January on “Know,” calling us to know Christ deeply. Tony will preach the third week on “Grow,” calling us grow in Christ together through biblical community. Tony will finish the month by preaching on “Go,” which will be two sermons on aspects of our PEACE Plan. We look forward to emphasizing these foundations of our mission in this series.
OUT of EGYPT
Beginning in February, Lord willing, we will take a close look at the book of Exodus. This Old Testament book is loaded with gospel truth, and we pray that God will use this study powerfully in the lives of many people, causing them to experience God’s redeeming grace.

- April 15 – Covenant Code (21:1-23:19)
- April 22 – Conquest and Covenant (23:20-24:18)
- April 29 – Worship Instructions (25:1-31:18)
- May 6 – Idol Factory (32:1-33:6)
- May 13 – Show Me Your Glory (33:7-34:35)
- May 20 – The Glory of God (35:1-40:38)
In addition to these studies in corporate worship, we look forward to discussing them in growth groups.
