There are an estimated 27 million slaves worldwide. Human trafficking generates an estimated $32 billion a year. All 50 states have reported trafficking cases. Modern day slavery comes in many different forms. Whether it is human trafficking, bonded labor, or another form of violent oppression modern day slavery exists.
“And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. God saw the people of Israel and God knew.” Exodus 2:24-25
Wednesday night, April 18, will be a night to incorporate prayer and advocacy. We will discuss ways we can be a voice for the voiceless and take a closer look at action and advocacy with this issue at a global and local level.
